Fried Catfish Plate

Love the fried catfish and shrimp here. Light and crispy, no heavy greasy feeling. Make sure to try the crawfish too!

Shrimp and Grits

Wow. The shrimp and grits were amazing! One of my favorite dishes. Creamy , smooth fresh grits and the shrimp were cooked perfectly! I even love the sauce! 10 out of 10! I also had a house salad that was so fresh and vibrant. Love this place and the atmosphere was amazing! Definitely recommend! Acadian Coast for the win!

Soft-Shell Crab Po'Boy

The soft shell crab po'boy is anything but poor in flavor. I personally had never been a fan, because why would I want to eat a shell? Acadian Coast threw away all misconceptions I had about this meal. I'm ashamed to say I judged a book by its cover, and I appreciate Acadian Coast for setting me on the right path.

Fish of the Day. Red Fish

My wife and I just finished working on a project one afternoon in the EaDo and decided to go to one of our favorite places to eat nearby. Unfortunately, the restaurant was about to close so we decided to try Acadian Coast. We've been curious about the place for a while and decided to give it try. The decor, staff, and atmosphere were all quite nice. I ordered the Fish of the Day---a grilled red fish with remoulade sauce on the side, accompanied with Gouda mashed potatoes and asparagus---and a cup of gumbo. My wife ordered the grilled chicken sandwich, and we shared the boudin balls. Overall, the food was good! My entree was exceptional, everything on the plate was cooked well (i.e., the fish flaked off easily on my fork and maintained its delicate flavor). I know that a lot people have their own preferences when it comes to gumbo, but this one was nice (you can add shrimp to the gumbo for a little extra, too). Although the waiter asked us if we wanted dessert, we were both too full and politely declined. However, we will definitely need to come back to try their beignets and coffee. :)

Shrimp & Alligator Jambalaya

This was the best jambalaya I've ever had. It was a great impression for my first time eating here. Now I can't stay away. Plan to try everything on the menu!
